Mountain Bike Breaks

...from as little as £45 per night per person*

Quarry Cottage is in an ideal location for Mountain Bike holidays.

Nestled at the bottom of the infamous Hawkcombe Combe, one of the best and longest descents on Exmoor, you don't have to ride very far to reach many of the best trails the area has to offer.  From single track to rocky descents and bridleways through ancient woodland; through rivers and streams and up over rolling hills and moorland, it's all on the doorstep of Quarry Cottage.

Our guided rides are with a fully qualified British Cycling MTB Leader and can cover all terrains, including single track, cross country and down hill (Ride up or up lifts can be purchased on request)

Total cost for the weekend (3 nights) weekday (4 nights) is £895 (that's less than £60 per night per person, based on weekend break for a group of 5 !!)

The cost includes the following:

- Accommodation at Quarry Cottage from Friday 4pm until Monday 10am, or Monday 10am until Friday 4pm.  We can accommodate up to 6 guests (2 twin rooms and a double, or 3 double rooms which is ideal for a group of couples)

- 1.5 days guided rides during your stay, covering 35-40 km, or more (or less!) if you want, of amazing trails

- 2 x evening meals chosen from a menu (These will be prepared, ready for you to heat up and serve on your return from the ride), such as lasagna, casserole, chilli - all home cooked.

- 1 x pub or tea room lunch on the full day ride.

Guest Comments

We so enjoyed this property especially as our weather was rather poor and we were unable to get out as much as we would've liked. It was also quite chilly and so the large Woodstove was most welcome. ...
